Practical advices

Practical advices

On the Climate Trail day, all runners will benefit from the following services:

  • Refreshments (mineral water) will be available every 5 km along the race;
  • Food stations (bread, cookies, bananas, oranges, other fruits, ) will be available every 10 km along the race.
  • The car park of the Trail Station in Herbeumont will be available with clear access (sign boards).
  • A medical rescue station (Red Cross) will be available close to the start/finishing line. Moreover, in case of emergency along the race paths and roads, any runner can call an emergency number written on his / her bib;
  • Showers and WC will be available on the start / finishing line.

Volunteers, runners and any supporter are encouraged to bring books for asbl R&SD. We will ship these books in schools and universities in less advanced countries.


Many runners may travel to Herbeumont with their friends and family. The Climate-Trail will be fed by warm encouragements from many supporters. People who shall stay nearby the start/finishing line or nearby the three food stations will enjoy local entertainment.

Departure by coach from Brussels (parking Delta), Louvain-la-Neuve (Place Verte) and Leuven (Margarethaplein): your free round-trip journey !!! Departure 7h, return 19h.
